Pocket Watch Converter - for the Pebble Time and other watches that use 20mm, 21mm or 22mm watch bands

Pebble Time Competition Winner   This design was designed specifically for the new Pebble Time smart watch (which uses 22mm watch bands so the design will also fit other watches that use 22mm watch bands) however I have now included versions in the download that will work with watches that use 21mm and 20mm bands as well so you can now convert any watch that uses 20mm, 21mm or 22mm watch bands into a stylish retro pocket watch hanging from a stylish fascinating chain that is 3D printed fully assembled so no assembly is required (apart from the installation of a small 3d printed spring for the quick attach/release system). Make sure you print the files corresponding to the band size of the watch you want to convert.   The functions and set up of this accessory are shown clearly in the YouTube video.   The new cutting edge Pebble Time smart watch meets retro in a collision of AWESOMENESS!   It makes sense that the most modern watch should meet the modern world of 3d printing to create cool custom stylish accessories such as watch straps for this watch however 3d printed watch straps are nothing new so I decided to think outside the box and instead of thinking of something new, I thought of something old; I took a step back in time to make something unique yet familiar for this watch and what I have designed is a unique accessory to convert your new modern Pebble Time smart watch into an old fashioned retro pocket watch with a modern twist (it's 3D printed!).   This converter consists of a chain which can bend in any direction due to alternating pivot directions in each link resulting in a modern stylish chain that has a full range of movement possible, the chain has been designed in such a way that the chain is printed fully assembled with no assembly required and no support required. On one end of the chain is a clip that can clip onto shirt pockets or other clothing, the other end of the chain attaches to your watch with a simple spring loaded quick attach/release system that consists of a small button which when pressed allows you to attach or remove the chain to or from your watch in a matter of seconds making it quick and easy to attach and remove this accessory to and from your smart watch just like the watch bands that come with the pebble time.   This design is printed in two parts, the main chain and a small spring which is then inserted into the buckle end of the chain that attaches to the watch which allows the spring loaded quick release system to work, this simple assembly is shown in the YouTube video I created.   Challenge your printer to print this fascinating accessory and treat your watch to a new stylish companion.   Takes 30 mins and uses only 4g of material per converter   You use this accessory at your own risk so I accept no liability for any damage caused as a result of using this accessory.
