Polar Scope for Celestron Wedge

End Caps and Lock are made from TPU and fit tightly to hold scope into polar mount and allow it to rotate but not fall out. End caps snap over ends to keep dust and dirt out of your optics. If you are unable to print TPU you can print the washer part and use a rubber band to hold the scope in place with the washer, but you will loose the protection that the end caps offer. The main body is printed out of PLA. The opening that the polar scope goes into is tight and WILL need to be lightly sanded in order for scope to be inserted. YOU DON"T want the polar scope to be sloppy. If it is you may need to slightly scale print to ensure that the polar scope fits snugly. Three nuts are inserted into print so that your wedge's mounting bolts will be used to attach the polar mount. Do Not over tighten, those knobs are pretty large and I am sure you will be able to break your print if you over tighten. Tighten all 3 bolts so that polar mount is FLUSH with the face of the wedge. Be sure to follow the instructions that come with the polar scope to adjust it so that the view does NOT shift as you rotate the polar scope. You have to do this with any mount you would put it in, not just your 3d printed one. Hope you enjoy!
