My construction of a Polargraph hanging pen plotter. The MOTOR MOUNTS: Desinged for NEMA17 and GT2 belt. Mounted onto a whiteboard per 3x10mm neodym magnets + clamps Mounted onto Canvas or something else with clamps. The GONDOLA: Pens are clamped via screw at the MagnetPenHolder (20mm). Thinner pens need a reduction sleeve. I added one for StabiloFineLiner Point88. The MagnetPenHolder can be switched easy (magnetic mounted) and it is adaptive to new ideas (maybe airbrush in future). The moving belts are attached to an BeltCoupler with a 608 bearing inside, that holds -with a closed loop of gt2 belt- the gondola. This ensures a centered pen while the gondola is spinning. Mounting brackets for a SG9 servo and a counterweight are implemented. The COUNTERWEIGHTS: Each 4 Mignon(AA) Batteries into one carriage, fixed to the belts and gondola, tighten the belts. You need 3 of them. Better pictures of the machine and an assambly guide will follow.
