The visor for the Polaris 1000 tends to catch the wind, particularly when it is trailered and at highway speeds. The tie-downs or attach points are on the far right and left of the visor. This leaves the center of the visor flexible to move up and down in the wind, sometimes violently with adequate forces such as a passing 18 wheeler. This will eventually lead to cracking of the plastic so I designed a clip to fit the screw mounts that are already in place on the visor. The clips wrap the mount and provide a secure, low-stress attachment for the center of the visor. This also contributes to less rain entering above the windshield and under the visor when you are cruising. There are five attach points but I only use the center three to attach the visor firmly to the frame of the quad. Thanks to Rodney B, Quad King of the Capital City, for bringing this to my attention.
