## What is it? This is a replacement drain plug for the floor of my Polaris General. I lost one and thought I'd have a shot at designing a new one. ## How do I use it? This is half the plug. Print two of these halves and glue them together. I put alignment pin holes on them that should fit 5mm dowel pins. I used those pins that hold up shelves in Ikea style shelving units. You can get them anywhere. <https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072LW7T7M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1> If you print it from ABS you can solvent weld them. PLA prints will need glue. It almost doesn't matter what glue you use since there is no stress on the joint when in use. In fact the drain hole holds the halves together. ## What does it fit? It fit perfect in my 2017 Polaris General 4 seater. This might fit other Polaris machines, I have no way to check. If you find it fits other machines I'd love to hear from you. It should be at least as watertight as the original which are not all that water tight. These may be better since they cover more than the original plug. It's worth printing an extra for your glovebox. It would be no fun to loose a plug on the trail and have to ride with wet feet. ## Where are the design files?
