Use this jig to help find where to drill your holes in your custom ATV mount and attach it to your Polaris Sportsman ATV using Polaris' Lock and Ride system.. THIS IS JUST A JIG. IT NOT TO BE USED TO ATTACH THE ACTUAL ATV ACCESSORY to the ATV. Simple jig to allow you to find the center of the Polaris Lock and Ride hole. Use a drill to <carefully> screw in a 1.5 inch deck screw (or similar size screw). Plop the jig with nail (pointy side up) into the hole(s) and place your item to be mounted in the desired spot, resting on the nail head(s). Give the item a little tap, you now have a small puncture wound on the bottom of the item that is perfectly centered over the hole! Grab your drill bit and drill an appropriate sized hole to fit your desired Lock and Ride connector.
