### What is it? This model is designed to scan Polaroid film on flatbed scanners without getting Newton Rings. It is also designed in such a way that it can be easily lifted from the plate and you can easily use some sticky substances to keep the film in place. ### 1.8mm v.s. 2.0mm There are two versions of the adapter here. One is 1.8mm tall for the film and the other one is 2.0mm tall. The further away the film from the glass plate is, the less sharp the scan will be. Making the 2.0mm version a worse choice. But, I noticed that the 1.8mm version occasionally gets Newton Rings on bend film. So 1.8mm is sharper scan quality, but is sometimes a hassle with the Newton Rings. The 2.0mm is negligible less sharp (but less sharp nonetheless), but does not have the hassle. TL;DR: Choose 1.8 for best quality, but chance on Newton Rings. Choose 2.0mm for near best quality, but no hassle. I personally recommend the 2.0mm version for the less hassle and the difference in quality is negligible. ### Singular version A singular version can be found [HERE](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4962583). ###Recommended print settings Filament: regular black Filament thickness: 0.2mm Supports: none needed Infill: low (10% ~ 20%) Recommended print settings are settings I gave the printing company.
