<b>Update 2020-12-23:</b> I redesigned the pins to make them slimer on the inside. There was an issue with previous version preventing the shutting mechanism to reopen completely. Improved the bevel at the base of the 3 pins for better supportless printing. This is a <b>Pole Adapter for Squirrel Buster Plus</b> bird feeder. Please note: this support is made for the <b>"Plus"</b> model only. It is heavier so only the bottom shell moves. On the conventional models the whole shell moves so it is not possible to install it on a pole as it will prevent the closing of the feeder by the weight of a squirrel. <b>Printing</b> NO NEED TO USE SUPPORT but use a brim both inside and outside. The total length is 210mm and should fit on most printer beds. I printed mine with 2mm walls and 30% cubic infill. I own this bird feeder and I will put it to the Canadian Winter test. Let me know if you print one and break it. I will remodel it to include holes for threaded rods reinforcement. <b>Assembly</b> The hole’s diameter for the pole is 26.4mm. That’s 1mm more than a one-inch pole. This will give extra space for expansion if you use a wooden pole. Wood expand in the summer and contract in the winter.
