Polycarbonate Dry Erase Board Pieces

These are the pieces necessary to turn any sized sheet of polycarbonate into a wall mountable dry erase board. The original design uses M3 hardware to connect the polycarbonate to the plastic pieces. The marker holders are designed for thin Expo brand dry erase markers, as well as the eraser. The dry erase board has Velcro pads under each foot in order to be removable from the wall and taken anywhere. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 100% Notes: The higher than average infill is used, as the M3 hardware is designed to go into smaller than average holes, to avoid the use of a tap and to make the project easier. It may be slightly difficult to start the bolts into the holes, but it is completely possible to thread them into the holes. Post-Printing If you are having trouble with getting the bolts to tap into the plastic For those who use imperial drill bits, I recommend using a 3/32" (~2.38mm) drill bit to make the minimum sized hole for the bolt to catch, if it is not already at this diameter. Increase this to a size 7/64" (~2.78mm) drill bit if still having difficulty. How I Designed This How this design came to be The design was made after seeing many TV shows with the use of see through dry erase boards being used. After much research, I discovered that polycarbonate actually works quite well as a dry erase surface, as well as being see through, (and incredibly impact resistant/bulletproof).
