My brother gave me a Summer Escape 15ft inflatable ring pool. I had three problems: 1.) The filter does little and needs to run all day to filter the pool. 2.) There's no way to vacuum the bottom of the pool 3.) There's no way to skim water from the top. I've solved all these issues with 3D printing (and a new pump). Here's the vacuum adapter. The bulkhead fitting has a strainer built into it and threads for a cap to act as a cut off valve. The threads are non standard, basically M93x3. I used M95x3 and manipulated the tread faces in fusion360 to make them smaller. It screws on fairly easily and can be used with the stock pump or upgraded if you use the same wall fitting. You can leave this fitting on all the time if you like. Screw the adapter onto the wall fitting. Then slide a standard 1.5" vacuum hose into the end. It works great with fine material, but with leaves / sticks they will get stopped by the strainer. Have a manual skimmer ready when you remove the fitting to catch the bigger items or use a prestrainer (working on that).
