Polyhedron Pendant Lights

Polyhedron Pendant Lights

pinshape

I designed and built a multi-pendant chandelier for my front foyer. It uses each of the 5 symmetric polyhedrons. The corners (vertices) of each polyhedron are 3d printed ABS. The top vertex piece includes a 10mm through hole to accommodate standard threaded lamp tubing. The edges of the polyhedrons are made from 3/8" diameter dowels. The edge dowels can be of any length desired. Dowels that mate with the top vertex need to be slightly shorter for some polyhedrons since the through hole pushed the pocket holes outward a bit. Specifically, reduce the length of the dowels to the top vertex as listed: 4S: 3/8", 6S: 5/32", 8S: 5/32", 12S: 3/16", 20S: 0"
