Jig for Polymer P80 serial number electro etching. For anyone working with the Polymer P80-style frames to make their own firearm, one question is whether or not to self-serialize or otherwise personally mark the build. This jig can be used to help electro etch the serial number plate on a Polymer P80 PF940V2, PF940C, PF940CL and PF940SC (i.e. the G17/19/26 9mm frames). The jig along with an M4 nut and a 20mm M4 screw can be used to connect the "+" terminal of the voltage. No advice is being given whether to or not to serialize nor is any advice being given on the legality of doing so. Research any laws or regulations which apply to you. If you do proceed, try 12V DC at 2.25 amps ;) Also included is a model for what I will call a "serial plate push" to help secure the stencil to the serial plate as well as any push material protecting metal that won't be etched. -- Adding models for the PF45 and PF9SS (i.e. G43) as well.
