*Noncommercial use only. Just make sure it is rotated on your build plate with the large opening on the bottom. If you'd also like an RMR cut cover plate, or a larger magwell, see my other designs.* New improved design! Higher speeds! Lower drag! Less of an eyesore! Lower profile! Created in response to the... ahem... esthetics of my other design (which I think is probably more functional if you're doing competitive shooting), here's a magwell with more tacticool. For you operators operating in nonpermissive environments. Work in progress version of a Polymer80 flared magwell. Tested on a PF940v2 only. If you try it on another of their models, please let me know if it works. Tested with Magpul and ETS 17rd magazines to ensure drop free function. I have not tested with stock Glock magazines. As long as the baseplate is smaller than the Magpul mags, they should work. I added finger grooves so you can grab the baseplate to clear a malfunction. The front isn't perfect yet, so it's still WIP at the moment. Print in as tough a filament as possible, with as much infill as possible. I use a bit of brim to help keep warping down. PLA will likely crack easily if you are a real door kicking operator. I have used PETG and polycarbonate so far. The frame itself is nylon, I believe (likely with glass fiber reinforcement). Weakest part of the model is the grip plug. If you torque it hard enough, you can delaminate it, however I have never had that occur with the current versions of this model. If you print this in ABS/PETG or stronger and manage to break it while it's installed, I will be impressed. It is a click fit, and once on, it won't move easily. Install by putting the front of the frame in first, then levering the back on. Once on, check in the magwell to make sure it is flush against the frame all around. The easiest way to remove is by flipping the frame upside down and backwards, then levering the back of the magwell off with your thumbs.
