Polysher Wedge

Polysher Wedge

This is a wedge I designed to fit the Polysher turn table to help coat vertical surfaces. I found vertical surfaces don't get the same dissolving effect as horizontal. The idea is to rotate the model 180 degrees on this wedge halfway through the cycle. There are 2 versions: 1.) Fixed angle 2.) Variable angle (base, table) The idea behind the variable angle is that you can rotate the model without getting fingerprints on it. I also included a drain for the IPA to exit. Enjoy! -------------------------------------- Update 6/3/17: You'll want to print the table in NinjaFlex or PolyFlex. I found with PLA even with a 10 degree angle the print slid off of the table. I wound up putting a dab of CA on a few of the standoffs and it held until the PVA softened up to tack it into place on it's own. Overall, the approach was effective in getting mist to adhere to vertical surfaces. The cycle was spit in half (20/20), and the model rotated to 180 degrees to coat the other side. This is a must for tall, vertical models!
