Please note I have a preformed Fibreglass type pond liner, and this should not be used on any soft pond liners. I decide my garden pond needed a good clean. On examination I noticed there was a large build up of silt and slugs on the bottom that my pond vacuum would not lift, so I designed and made this attachment to first break it up, which would then allow the Hoover to suck it up more easily. The two hose attachments should be sealed to the lid with a waterproof silicone sealant. The water hose should be secured to your vacuum hose to support the weight.
