***Version 2 adds a bend to the inlet pipe. This makes it a little easier to connect the hose straight on from the skimmer opening. I needed a way to connect a pool vacuum to my Summer Escapes metal frame pool with built in skimmer/filter. This cover with hose connector plugs off the inside of the skimmer and forces the suction through the 1.25 in hose connector. I don't know the model of the pool or filter, but the diameter of the thing I created is 166mm and fits where the skimmer basket sits. I printed with a .2 layer height and a 45% infill. It seems strong enough, we'll see how it holds up.
