My wife and I were about to go on a trip to SF with our 18 month old and she had a great idea for a portable game to keep our little one occupied. A couple iterations and tests and I think it was a success! This is a great way to teach fine motor skills and my daughter absolutely loves it. As they get older, they will store stuff in it and learn to screw and unscrew the top. Object of the game: Match the colors of the popsicle sticks (either hand colored or bought that way) with the holes on the top of the cylinder, pretty simple! You can print whatever colors you want for the inserts and add a couple drops of super glue to keep them in. The holes are small enough that you don't normally have to worry about the sticks flying out when your LO shakes it, and it screws off easily to start over. Designed to be printed without support (with decent bed adhesion). I usually print 10 inserts at a time, in case I want to give these away and just keep the extras in a bag. To print 10 only takes me about 6 min.
