This is a cap for the upper post of the HVAC blend door, as accessed from the frunk of your 911 or Boxster. If you've seen videos on YouTube on this method of fixing your blend door, you'll want this cap to finish off the repair. I make no warranty on this part, it worked for me, your results may vary. I used a little dab of superglue on the vertical surface of the cap to secure in place, make sure you do not get any adhesive on the upper slotted plastic bearing.
