Note:
This is a remix of a model which has been remixed by plenty of people. See the creator and the other remixers below. Thanks to everyone that has improved this model to what it is today. The model I remixed was made by jackw01.
About
This is a phone stand that is print-in-place, easily portable, and made to be the size of a credit card. It fits nicely inside a wallet, at only 2mm thick, but it is a very nice "tool" to use anywhere where you do not want to have a bulky or visible phone stand at all times. This can be hidden away pretty much anywhere. It can be used for both portait and landscape mode, the angle can be adjusted, and the snap mechanisms work great! My contribution here is small, but since it didn't work like I wanted it to, I thought I´d change it up and upload it for others in the future. Except for this small issue that I am about to explain, this model is pretty much perfection for being fully 3D-printed.
Problem
The problem I experienced was that the "legs" or "pegs" could go down below the main body, making it more difficult to fold and use this little tool, and it became an annoyance very fast. This is because the holes around where the pegs are printed, are too large, allowing for the pegs to pass through to the other side of the main body (see the red circles on the last image for better context). I am sure the original model can be printed with other printer settings to get this fixed (possibly with increased layer height), but it didn't work for me.
Solution
The distance between these pegs and the main body has now been decreased. It is still possible to print in place, but now the folding part can only be unfolded upon one side of the body, as it, (probably) was intended to do. I also altered some of the surfaces to make the model more sleek.
Print
* The model should be printed with 100% infill * Recommended to print at 0.12mm or less for better quality and precision because of the small scale, but 0.20mm is said to be doable on previous iterations. The model in the pictures have been printed with a Bambulab X1C printer at 0.12mm layer height, but with a first layer height of 0.20mm. The top surfaces have all been ironed to give it a smoother finish. Time to print was roughly 44 minutes.
