Portable desk and drawers with fixed slots for writing utensils.

This is my design for the student design challenge in MakerBot. I have specifically created this design in order to make the students' life easier. It may not look attractive but it can come in handy. This design includes a foldable desk with drawers that can be separated. The great thing about this design is that the students will be able to use the desk or the drawers whenever they need it. This design is specifically for those students that don't have a desk or just lazy to get out of their beds. They can sit anywhere and use the portable desk with the drawers. One issue that I came up against while designing was the fact of incorporating a portable desk. But thankfully I was able to create both portable desks and add in drawers with slots for writing utensils. If I were to redesign this design I would try to make it look cooler and aesthetically pleasing. In this way, my design can be both appealing and useful. If I 3D printed this design, I would be able to see if what I came up with will actually be good enough in saving space and work according to the claims I have made.
