Portable Monitor Mount

Portable Monitor Mount

thingiverse

This is a very basic monitor mount for a portable monitor I bought on Amazon about a year ago. The monitor was originally branded as Toposh, but the original listing is no longer available. This seems to be a commonly available 15.6" 1080p Chinesium portable monitor though as I have found multiple similar ones under different brands. The 3D printed stand was designed to fit to the top of my existing Dell monitor stand (third picture) and is assembled using 3 M3 (min 20mm long) bolts with a nut on the other end. Nylock nut would be best, but as long as you tighten it down enough and don't readjust it 20 times a day it will be fine with a normal nut. The monitor is attached to the stand using the thumb screws it came with. The length of ArmArm and the height of CapStand probably will need changed to fit your setup, so I have included the raw cad files. First adjust the height of CapStand to increase or decrease the angle of the monitor. Then adjust the length of ArmArm such that the monitor rests on the top of your existing monitor. Or you can throw these instructions out and rebuild some parts from scratch, just using my measurements as a guide. Up to you!
