An innovative product has been designed which will enable visually impaired person to read printed text. The device will scan the text and generate the corresponding Braille code enabling the visually impaired person to sense it on a fingertip by the means of a piezoelectrically actuated tip. The sensors, processing units, power supply and output units are completely integrated into a wearable device. Along with this, the device also facilitates the user to learn Braille by manoeuvring it in training mode.
