Hello Everyone! So this is a Project I have been working on for quite a while. This is a Weighted Cube-with the Aperture Science logo, from the games Portal and Portal 2. I originally designed this for my Machining class. It is intended to be machined, but it can also be 3D Printed. For Machining, first of all the material is 6065 Aluminum. Before you start you need to square-up the cube to the overall dimensions of 2.6 inches by 2.6 inches by 2.6 inches (+/- .005) preferably. Next, this code is Processed for the Haas Automation Control (Pre NGC). It is designed to be machined one side at a time, on a 4-axis CNC Machine. Make sure to have at least one third of the part sticking above the vice. You will need to flip the part manually and run the program for each side. Make sure to have the stop set on the flat surface where the triangle-esque shape is on the corners, and set the Work-Coordinate-System to G54, as this is what the program uses. This is the list of tools in order: (1) 1/4" Flat End Mill (2 Flutes), (2) 1/8" Flat End Mill (2 Flutes), (3) 1/8" Ball End Mill (2 Flutes), (4) 3/8" 45° Chamfer Mill (2 Flutes), and finally, (5) 1/4" 30° Engrave/Chamfer Mill (1 Flute).
