This is a 20V battery shaped adapter for Porter Cable cordless tools. It has a flange plate to be mounted for storage of the tool. Just slide the tool onto the adapter. *Note that the adapter plate does not contain a spring mechanism like the batteries, so it will not click and lock into place, just slides on the grooves of the adapter.
