Porter Cable Heatgun Holder - PC1500HG

This mount is for a Porter Cable heat gun, model PC1500HG, 1500watt. I designed it to install on a flat surface for holding the gun at an upright 30 degree angle. You can make your own holes with a drill, or by transferring a pattern from tape or paper onto the design for drilling. There are models for mounting it on the LEFT and RIGHT SIDE of a table. There are multiple versions so you do not have to flip any axises in a slicer. The right side files are for mounting on the right side of a table, left for left side of a surface. I have included a smaller width plank version that measures ~30mm wide, the other version is ~50mm wide for the plank. I printed it like a soda can, have the cylinder oriented perpendicular to your print bed. You can do this by selecting one of the bottom surfaces of the cylinder as the surface to align to the print bed. The insides of each end have a small radius to them, so try and select the flat edge until you get the correct one to make it flat. Supports are needed from build platform only, as this helps the edges of the plank (it's a very small amount of support). Recommended infill is 30% or 100%. I did 30%, but had a thick shell so it placed infill in the areas where it could. It depends on the amount of walls you wish to use (I usually use 5 or 6 top/bottom/shells and perimeters).
