Poser > Rhino > RepG workflow test

Been trying to crack the code of getting a Poser 11 mesh sealed up and put through Rhino (my primary CAD software for work), which is a NURBS-based system that's more suited for building physical parts, but struggles with organics. Finally figured out a functional export/import method. Obviously this is a stock T-model, but now that I've got the flow down I can start to work on poses and props and modifications. Oh, and yes, I know this would have been easier with 3DS or Maya. I'm not going to buy 3DS or Maya and then put in the same number of years I've put into learning Rhino. So. Have included .stl and .x3g files for anyone who wants to try it out in their printer. I have raft/support settings engaged in the .x3g. It's fragile and very suceptable in uneven build platforms, etc, took a few tries. Scaling up would help some of that. Total build time was about 55min at 30mm/30mm using PLA. Note that I tried to build my own supports in the file, but for some reason they didn't print. Haven't figured out why yet. Probably missed a naked edge or something. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 10% Notes: Temp set to 175C/75C (extruder/bed) using Hatchbox yellow PLA. Stock build plate (with included sticker) and some hairspray. Tried it at a lower temp but had some sticking issues. Initial print came out a bit hairy (I cleaned it up) so there's still some fine tuning to be done. I used default 30mm/30mm speed settings (printing/travel) Post-Printing Cleaned up the support sprues and some hair with a pair of $6 flush cutters. Simple enough.
