<p>I inherited a slide rule in very nice shape which was missing the cursor. I thought it'd be worth a try to print one. I was happy the hairline printed good, but the whole thing is blocky and not as nice to use as a real one (glass or acrylic). I can't get PLA to print strong on my printer, and I don't think it would have survived support removal for this part. There is a tiny bit of support which sticks to the hairline; if i was going to print this again I would think about blocking support right there.</p>
