Slotted base half inch post holder designed for secure positioning on optical breadboards or tables with standard 1-inch x 1-inch spacing. Pre-drilled holes allow easy attachment of 1/4-20 thumb screws to lock the post firmly in place, ensuring stability and preventing accidental movement. To ensure long-lasting performance, use washers when fastening the base to the table, as this will help extend its lifespan. The slot in the base is carefully sized for smooth sliding motion along a 1/4-20 screw mounted into the optical breadboard or table. Optional attachment methods include using a 3-inch table clamp, also available in my collection, which can provide additional security and peace of mind when working with sensitive equipment.
