Pot handle

When you get a makerbot usually everything at home gets broken and needs to be repaired. This is what happened to my pot cover handle. As the cover won't surpase 100ºC while cooking because the water maintains this temperature while boiling, it will resist for ages. Instructions In order to get a nice surface in the handle's top, print it in a heated surface as hot as you can without risking the object deformation that usually happens while cooling. i printed mine at 160º and this surface looks great. Maybe you have to adjust the hole in order to suit your cover screw. Screw the piece to the cover when it is still hot, just when coming out of the printer. Since ABS contracts around 2% when cooling, this will help to tight the union and keep the handle in place.
