Potted Plant Crutch

For use with <b>1/2" dowel</b>. Print with the hole facing own (as the stl is positioned.) No support needed. Print several at once! This potted plant crutch originally designed for use with an aging dumbcane but of course could be used with any potted plant. Print several and position around the stem creating a ring-like cage strong enough to support but loose enough to not impede growth. For the dowels, I purchased one before designing project so I could custom fit the cavity to the dowel. In my case I felt a 1/2" dowel would be strong enough to support. And it is. The cap fits snuggly onto the dowel and does not move. A little gentle pressure gets it on just fine. Try light sanding on dowel if needed. But remember you want a tight fit as this is meant to be a support system and not a floppy floop system.
