I've used these to maintain a circular shape on mugs during initial drying when slipcasting. They work perfectly for turned items as well. They can be printed quickly at the lowest resolution. And I'm fully aware that the mug in the picture is already bisque-fired. You should use your imagination and envision a pre-leather item instead.
