My wife wanted a new hobby for the Quarantine, So I made her a pottery wheel from 3d printed parts and 3d printer parts.

Would you sacrifice your printer for love?

(p.s. It works really really well, she made amazing cups with it)

Print instructions

Print the parts...
The wheel should be printed from PETG with high infill 40% - 50% (for weight and Structural strength).
Install 4 X m4 threaded inserts in the stepper motor socket.
Install 4 X m3 threaded inserts in the arduino socket (non critical)
Install the motor, and tighten it.
Install the arduino with screws to the base.
Connect the arduino to the motor with a stepper motor driver.
Install a 12 V switch, and connect to a 12 volt power supply.
You need a 5mm flange to connec the wheel to the stepper motor.

Ta Da!
you got yourself a working throwing wheel.
