# Ryobi battery cap. I use 18v batteries to power several things in my shed (such as a power supply, soldering iron, Seig Sx2 Mill) as well as normal 18v tools such as drills. I have both Ozito and Ryobi batteries. This is a cap for the Ryobi battery. ( I also have a similar cap for the Ozito batteries). The M3 screws on top of the cap are "live" allowing a wire connector to be screwed on. I make connector wires with either a 2.5mm barrel connector or an XT60 connectors. **NB: Having "live" screws on the top of the battery is a safety hazard. ** You will not get an electric shock, but if something like a screw driver shorts the electrodes you could get a fire. I moulded polymorph over the electrodes to protect them. Maybe I will design a 3D printed cap? At the moment I don't need to.
