I prepared this thing to auto power off my wife's e-bike charger when not in use. I used a micro switch in normally-closed configuration to recognise the presence of the charging cable. When the charging cable is hanging the charger is switched off When the charging cable is not hanging the charger is switched on This version can be hung from an electric box or fixed to the wall with screws. The upper screw hole is closed by a little wall and is suitable for countersunk head screw. The screw hole in the bottom can be used for a screw or to pass a second cable For the microswitch I buyed long hinge version. use the COMMON and NORMALLY CLOSED contacts. Look EBAY attached screenshot just as example, Please buy a microswitch that is able to manage your power supply consumption!!! To close the box I used five m3 x 10mm countersunk head screws To fix the microswitch I used m3 x 25 mm countersunk head screws with nut and I cut them to size ( Put the screws from the box side and the nuts on the cover side!!) Attached you can find the charger support suitable for 42 x 60 mm chargers. In the support there is a very fine part for the power supply LED Anyway I provide the original DesignSpark files if you need to modify it for your power supply.
