Powerbox & Futaba receiver mount

Powerbox & Futaba receiver mount

I wanted to create a clean and solid way to mount a PowerBox - Systems Evolution together with a Futaba receiver (RS7008SB) inside a plane. The result is a simple mount that can be used with most Powerbox models and Futaba receivers. Small slots to guide the wiring and standoffs to allow cooling. The receiver compartment keeps the receiver in place with a clamp. (or ty-raps) Next to the receiver are two guides for antenna tubes with a 90° angle. The mount is screwed to the spacers (M3 x 8), which should be glued in the fuselage, This makes it easy to remove all the electronics in case you need to. ! NOTE ! Use 5 walls in your slicer settings when you're using threaded inserts. Otherwise they won't hold firmly! (risk of losing all vital equipment in flight ;-) ).
