Pragmatic Puzzle Box v2
thingiverse
This is a puzzle box that requires turning to unlock. The mechanism that locks the lid in place itself locked by four six millimeter balls bearings, which can be printed on or inserted during printing. \nA simple turn on a relatively level surface allows the lid to be twisted twenty degrees, making it removable. However, closing and locking the box does not require any tricks; just insert the lid and twist to lock.\n\nInstructions\nNote: If you want to test the locking mechanism's tolerance before committing to a full print, you can print included test models. \nPrint the top part. \nGet four six millimeter airsoft balls ready.Note: You can also print a version of the bottom that includes the BBs. Simply insert the lid and twist it closed like normal, and the BBs should break free. Be warned, sometimes balls don't print well for me. \nStart printing the short or tall version of the base part. \nIf necessary, insert the four balls when their compartments are printed but before they're closed off.
