http://emuseum.cornell.edu/view/objects/asitem/items$0040:40328 This pre-columbian artifact has been captured using photogrammetry and transformed for modern use into a seed planter. Print using bio-degradable PLA. Place cotton or paper substrate into the top of the vessel, followed by a bean or seed, then place the conical section into the ground. The holes at the bottom allow water to drain and roots to grow outwards, and the opening at the top allows sunlight inside. The three figures remain above ground and mark the site where the seed was planted. The vessel will eventually degrade as the seed grows, and a living plant will break down the planter, eventually replacing it entirely.
