Precision Tool Holder

A tool holder for 3D printer tools. (A one-day project went out of control, lol.). In order for mini pliers hang on the hangers, they have to be either leaf springs http://amzn.to/1e7Mh0N or coil springs http://amzn.to/1hGM0TX . The hangers are friction fit, trays need to be super glued. I recommend use gel super glue http://amzn.to/1kR6BJY, instead of instant super glue. Instructions It was printed in ABS with 0.35 mm nozzle. My printer prints extra 0.25 mm materials; that means a 10 x 10 x10 mm cube would come out as a 10.5 x 10.5 x 10.5 mm cube. Friction fit parts were made with this tolerance. The Hangers are friction fitted to the main body, so do a test print of a hanger and a body together in one print job. Stop the print job after the hanger is done. Then see if they fit correctly. If they don't, then cut off back beam of the hanger and glue the hangers in place. The main body is a large and tall part. It's best to print it by itself with a generous skirt to prevent its corners from lifting up. Also calibrate bed level before printing it. The Right and Left Trays (in the center) come in four sizes, 15, 25, 60 and 90 mm in depth. Pick the size that fits your needs. Top Plate is an aesthetic part, you can skip it. Hanger End Cap is also optional, it caps one section of the hanger; so it can be use as a tray.
