I had a requirement to roll form 1" square Hast-X to 15" dia in a Cincinnati Press brake, we over sized stock requirements for lathe operation after bump. Used oil-hardened ss stock for round punch and die. The design shown is my original tool concept to keep the punch supported to prevent crowning. The 16inch wide version shows actual tool design intent. this will bump longer , thinner walled cylinders.
