Pressure Nozzle for Water Hose

Pressure Nozzle for Water Hose

I wanted a high-pressure spray nozzle for the garden hose, so I designed this attachment with interchangeable nozzles. My goal was for it to produce a strong jet and use less water than a standard spray handle, so the nozzles are on the smaller side (5mm ID and below). The STL files include a base that threads onto the end of the hose and 6 different nozzles that I've been experimenting with. 5 of the nozzles have a round outlet and one has a rectangular outlet. The rectangle doesn't make a huge difference but does widen out the spray pattern a bit. In the photos, I included a gif showing the 3 mm round nozzle in action. I've found that the 3mm nozzle is a good balance between flow and pressure and works well for light power-washing (since I don't have a real power washer). NOTE: As shown in the assembly gif, you’ll want to get a rubber gasket for the end of the hose to seal against. The nozzle will work without a gasket, but it will leak. These are available pretty much anywhere that sells garden supplies. I just took one from an old lawn sprinkler I had laying around.
