This object was entered in the MakeShaper Design Challenge (see all entries here). Let me ask you a question. What is the most annoying design flaw about the Pringle chip can? If you're like most people, you will probably say that the most annoying design flaw is that the cap of the Pringle can doesn't fit onto the bottom of the can. This is a huge nuisance when you are trying to walk around and eat these delicious chips at the same time! We always end up having to hold the lid in our hands and most of the time we end up dropping it and getting it dirty! Gross!  This design is a simple fix for this annoying problem. This design is meant for flexible filaments, and will hold your lid onto the bottom of your can, leaving behind the hassle of having to hold the lid seperately. You simply attatch the adapter piece to the bottom of the can, and attatch the lid to the bottom of the adapter piece. This design is best printed using very flexible filament because of the specially designed button on the side. By pressing the button on the side when the lid is on the bottom of the adapter, the air pressure increases under the cap, releasing the lid from the bottom of the can. This allows for the cap to stay on when you want it to, and release with the press of a button!
