Presenting Zippityboombot!, an articulated, print-in-place, zero-assembly robot figure. With 13 working joints, fresh off your build plate: 8 hinge, 2 ball & socket, and 3 axles. All you do is remove it from the plate and clean off the brim. In motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOVHAzVpq0g Printing: https://youtu.be/uH8uHMg9Ly0 The joints move freely once you loosen them up. If you want it to hold a pose, I found a small ball of museum wax in the joints does the trick. Feel free to remix as you please, just attribute here. Made one? Post a picture! Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: I recommend using a brim since the entire torso and head attach to the bed only by the bottom of the pelvis. May be scaled up as big as your printer can go, but scaling it down might fuse the joints.
