Print in place hinged dice case (With Magnets!)
thingiverse
Full-sized hex dice case with a sturdy hinge and clasp, requiring no supports - just print it in place. I was inspired by Idle_Time's cool design and had some 8x1mm magnets lying around, so I decided to try my first mod. Using TinkerCad, I made some modifications to the original design. The result is a case with eight magnets that provides exceptional strength and securely holds the dice. To reduce noise, I also applied UV resin to the bottom of the dice slots, which worked perfectly. However, the magnet holes are a bit tight, so it's essential to tap them in gently with a hammer while applying a tiny drop of super glue underneath. In the future, I might update the design to include slightly larger holes. Printed at 0.2mm resolution using PLA filament, sliced with Cura and produced on my Ender 3 Pro 3D printer.
