Print-in-place simple railroad crossing gate I threw together in TinkerCAD.

It's not designed to any scale, but it's small enough that it works with Hot Wheels, Brio, Duplo, Lego; pretty much any small-sized toy set.

If you'd like to remix the project, feel free to copy my original model:

https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6IKkoSalzJN-railroad-crossing-gate

Print Settings

Printer:

Artillery Genius

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: Overture PLA Black

Notes:

When printing, be sure to place the gate surface on the bed, as illustrated in the picture. The gate arm has a rounded end and a flat end at the pivot: the flat side of the model should be placed down.
If your printer has issues with elephant's foot or the first layer width being too squished, I would recommend using a raft. No supports are needed.

The base can be attached to the gate arm assembly with superglue or your adhesive of choice.

Recommend to print 0.2mm or higher resolution.

Category: Buildings & Structures
