See http://www.appropedia.org/Printable_Baby_Bottle for details! This is a simple top that can be screwed onto a standard "Coke" bottle sized screw top to make it a baby bottle! This was made to complement this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7536. I do not take responsibility for the safety or functionality of this thing. Please use common sense, and if you do make one, post feedback! This is all done with the student edition of SolidEdge. You won't be able to open it in any other version. Please don't sell this or anything, as that will make the good people at SolidEdge angry. I have also uploaded .stl files. I am trying to find a better thread design, as this was adapted using measurments taken from a bottle. If anybody has seen a public domain model that is actually made by a company that produces these things, let me know! Instructions Instructions: Print on something like a RepRap. Use maximum infill to prevent porosity, which could cause leakage. Print the bottle cap to begin with. This minimize overhang, although there is still some overhang in the thread area. Watch this carefully, to make sure that the threads form well. You might have to experiment a little to get it just right. Flip the bottle cap over, and zero the printing machine (set the origin) in the very middle of the hole on the back. You might need to clamp down the bottle cap. Print the nipple. The inside passage tapers very gently, at an angle much greater than 45 degrees. This degree of overhang usually does not produce issues with the RepRap. NOTE!! The flow rate will be dictated by the size of the hole in the nipple. Start with a very small hole, and increase it in small increments. The bottle should slowly drip when held upside down, and the pressure should need to be equalized by turning the bottle right side up periodically. Test it first, or it could overwhelm and choke the baby! If you are using a flexible bottle, don't squeeze it, or it will increase the flow even further. Thanks to Rusted Robot for the heads up, and also for the suggestion of an alternative use: squeezable salad dressing/condiment bottle! Sand carefully, and check for loose pieces that could cause the baby to choke. Sterilize with boiling water. Put it on your favourite Coke bottle, and feed away! If you want to use a different bottle, just modify the cap and post it so others can use it!
