Printable Lead screw Nut T8 Lead 8mm - replacement - Nylon print

Designed this Nut to replace the default brass Lead screw Nuts available on market. Later I made configurations to fit different types like the one used in Prusa mk2 printers. You have to print this in Nylon to take advantage of the glide/no need for lubricants and high resilience features of Nylon. I print in Taulman Alloy 910 https://taulman3d.com/910-features.html This is a similar to my popular part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2246502 but definately NOT a remake as a created it from scratch and fits as a direct replacement to the existing brass Lead/ACME screw nuts based for T8 leads. I have created a parametric document in OnShape where you can configure your own variant. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/bd943218532b054f7932ae3b/w/68eaaf08be3b7ccf6cd01b41/e/9e81ceed14d94bb3df0ad0ce?configuration=List_WnDOJVZvHijwdT%3DLoose%3BList_bEQbocBDxI0jyl%3DPrusa_mk2%3BList_i0L0M24krlo8BN%3DDefault%3BList_kvL0qoCIyA5N5z%3DDefault%3BList_v3Uz2gH6bVn6yV%3DDefault%3BList_wGAV78ailkfsEN%3DDefault&renderMode=0&uiState=61dd71faa162677ccf0c861d I uploaded here the most popular configurations. Check your Lead screw specs and print the right one. Following configurations available Styles : Default (Brass replacement), Prusa mk2 style, Style B, Style C Screw type : T8, T5 Number of starts : 4, 2, 1 Lead : 8mm, 2mm Thread Pitch : 2mm, 1mm Print slack : Tight, Normal, Loose Printing: 0.1 minimum (0.08 or 0.12 or less) slicing resolution 35% infill 2 perimeters (using more perimeters might make more tight holes) Start from printing loose size and if it is too loose for you try the normal size or the tight one. The sizes account only for printing slack which has to do with what size your print nozzle is or how calibrated your printer is. Tip : use of fans is generally NOT recommended when printing Nylon parts. Mind you this is a small part. If you intend to print one piece alone, you may experience the top part not being printed correctly as it is too thin and the previous layer has not have time to cool. I recommend to either put more pieces on the same plate (4 pieces) or have a dummy part being printed on the side to allow the filament on the printed part to have time to cool down.
