To lessen motor noise and vibration, utilize a NEMA 17 template to cut 3mm or 1/8-inch cork discs. Obtain these from Michael's craft store for $1.99 per pack of four. Trace or cut around the template on the cork and drill M3 holes. Place one cork spacer between the motor and mount, and another where the screw heads touch. Secure with (4) M3 x 16 screws per motor. Rejoice in reduced noise and vibrations! Alternatively, purchase pre-cut cork gaskets from MBI.
