Printed bushings - LM8UU replacement

Printed bushings - LM8UU replacement

I created these bushings to replace my noisy LM8UU bearings. These are printed with the Igus Tribo filament. This filament is especially made for such applications. It offers low friction, high wearing resistance, quiet operation and no stick-slip while running without any lubricant. They can be made out of PLA, but u will propably notice the stick-slip effect. I found the only useful lubricant for sliding PLA on stainless stell is PTFE(-spray). Other lubricants may lower friction and wear, but unfortunately they won't reduce stick-slip. Instructions Just print it with 2 perimeters and 0% infill. This should work fine. Mine do fit on an 8mm rod perfectly without any drilling or reaming.
