This is a spindle to hold you filament while printing. This version is more robust than http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1188 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7Zzq97feIM Instructions Print out the printed parts. You\'ll also need: 18 ea. 110mm threaded rod (M4 or 10-24 will work) (green on diagrams) 6 ea. 160mm threaded rod (blue on diagrams) 3 ea. 194mm threaded rod (yellow on diagrams) nuts The images show the assembly sequence. The spindle should turn freely on the support. Both printed_spindle_assembly.stl and printed_spindle_assembly.pdf provide rotatable and zoomable views of the entire assembly. The PDF also supports turning on and off parts of the assembly. printed_spindle.stp contains the whole design (Alibre Design 11.2) printed_spindle_step_ap_214.stp hopefully is importable by older versions.
