This is a printable tube for use with this filament box: Filament Storage Solution (IKEA SAMLA)http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:743280 Tube is 314mm long, 50mm wide. Meant for standard size reels with 50mm+ holes. Using a darker color for print is recommended as the reels tend to shed black plastic on it. Customize socket for 50mm tube and print. Print both parts (takes quite a few hours!) Assemble! The 3 M6 parts are pre-customized sockets and screws that you can use to make the entire assembly 3D printed. Updates: 14 Dec 2016: Both parts modified greatly for better fitting to solve the problems with the first. Tested, next update will make the tube hollow for faster printing and better filament efficiency. 21 Dec 2016: New Version 3! More gaps to accommodate printer inaccuracies and structural alterations to make it print better.
